Sorry that i didn't inform you ,i am presently in Benin for a program called Empowering Youth to Fight Racism,HIV/AIDS,Poverty and Lack of Education,we have visited three countries in Africa . i need help from you urgently , I miss placed my wallet and all my credit cards everything on my way to the hotel .

i read this email and starting wondering what the fuck happened to my friend... 2 days later i got an email from her saying...

せてたけど、届いてない人も居るんじゃないかと思って．．．昨日、あたしから変なメール が来たなら、無視してくださーい。あれって、本格的な、「オレオレ詐欺」。アフリカ人の犯人が、あたしのメール・アカウントに（不法侵入？？ハックだよ、 ハック！）入って来て、アドレスブックのみんなに勝手にメール送ったみたいのね。「あたしがアフリカに居て金なくなって帰れなくなったから金貸して」みた いな内容だったけど、そのあとあたしの銀行口座にもハックして３０万くらいの小切手も取られそうになったんだ。

今日、マジ焦ってたわ！！しかも心配してくれた友達が、偽あたし＝ハッカーにお金を振込もうとしてたから、まぁ色々あって警察管区まで行ってたよ！だから、２４時間以内こんな最悪な事を経験して、新しいメアドって、ザ・maji.arienaiです。登録、よろちく。笑

i'm sorry for this mass email again, and hopefully it doesn't get filtered into some random mail box of your's.
you might have gotten an email from "me" in the middle of last night from my old gmail account at xxxxxx asking for money. you know i'll never do that... my email got hacked into, and a lot of my personal info is now in the hands of some... nigerian dude. i can't access my email or my blog anymore, and hopefully i don't lose any money.
anyway, i've been talking with a few of you but this is just to let you know my new email address. "maji arienai" means... "i can't believe it" in japanese. perfect for my current situation!!

I received an email from <GILDA'S NEW EMAIL>
but there was no text message and under the
subject was supposedly "Gilda here" with all your
email addresses. Unless you are my own friends
first, Gilda never gave me your email addresses.
So this <GILDA'S NEW EMAIL> is highly
questionable.

I repeat and please note that her blog and email
have been hijacked. Someone is controlling from
elsewhere and sending emails to ask for money.

Some of you could have responded.

DO NOT respond to any person asking for money
and/or purportedly from Gilda.

HAHAHA. when i read this i burst out laughing. 10 mins later gilda msns me bitching to me that someone hacked into her account and that her father went to tell all her friends that he new email is "highly suspicious". And she went on about how "smart" her father is by thinking that the hackers are sooo smart they actually bother to use reverse psychology.
